My months of living in Sevilla, Spain, were a dream, filled with music, great food, and amazing people. I learned salsa and bachata in this time, and after each night of dancing, I’d meander through the softly lit streets, soaking in the magic of the city.
This piece is a nod to my time living in Sevilla and the memories I made.
As you look at this painting, I hope you find moments of joy and wonder as I combine the natural – in the vivid purple and yellow pansies – with the urban – the Plaza de España in the beating heart of Sevilla, Spain.
