B is for Buttercup

Size: 10 x 8 inches

Yellow is my favourite colour and painting this brought me such joy! I took a trip down memory lane, thinking of my childhood days playing out in the local parks on a warn sunny day, putting buttercups under our chins to ‘discover’ if we liked butter!

Created with a combination of brushwork and applying paints with palette knife, this original artwork has been finished with a satin varnish for protection.
