As spring beckons, I’ve been obsessed with cherry blossoms. In creating this piece for my collection, I was thinking about walking down my street in London on a cool, crisp spring morning with clear blue skies. As I look around me I notice the cherry blossom lining the street and feel the promise of a warm, beautiful day ahead.

I hope you are transported to a place you love on a bright spring morning, where you almost feel the sun on your face, hear the birds, and smell spring in the air as you look at this painting.

Created with a combination of brushwork and applying paints with palette knife, this piece has been finished with a satin varnish for protection.
