Symbols of confiding or humble love, or anxiety, many myths and folklore surround Fuchsia. In the past, fuchsia symbolised a warning and as such, were planted at an entry way and enchanted to help protect homes. Other magical tales speak of fuchsias being used to magically form fairies or women based on their lady-like shapes!

Created with a combination of brushwork and applying paints with palette knife, this original artwork has been finished with a satin varnish for protection.
