Sunset over Florence

When my now husband, Josh, and I started dating, we had a transcontinental relationship between London and Dubai. For our first Christmas together, we decided to travel to Italy. On this trip we stopped in various cities, though Florence was our clear favourite. We would meander through the Florentine streets hand-in-hand, music and sounds would waft through the air, each turn of a corner unveiled a new delight for the eyes, and the rich tapestry of art and history came alive around us. There was a vibrancy that was palpable.

We’ve come back to Florence many times since, and will continue to do so for many more. You’ll find us siting in the Piazza del Duomo, watching the bustle of city unfold around us, as the sun sets over Santa Maria del Fiore.
